Design Objectives:
This is a tabloid design of a fictional art journal—The Art Giants. The purpose is to cover news about artists and their works on a monthly basis. Because the materials are predominantly pictures of artworks, I decided to design the layouts accordingly—let the artworks lead the viewers, and the texts follow. The typeset are in Adobe Garamond Pro, Helvetica, Impact and Minion Pro, etc.
I enjoyed this personal project a lot because I got to read about some of my favorite artists’ bios and learn more about them.
